UPCOMING EVENT
Free Live Music Event
With BOMBA Fried Rice and other artists.
September 20
Central Park, Davis
5-8 PM on the Courtyard Steps
It's a slip of the tongue capturing the pleas of Davis and Yolo county residents for events where people can see and share in their communities. PopLuck is our portmanteau of “pop-up” and “potluck,” encapsulating what we’ve heard from the community in our many conversations. Potlucks bring people together to share, and a pop-up theater company–one with no permanent performance space–invites us to create and reinforce our community identities.
Do I have to bring food?
We encourage it for you, especially if you get snack-y! If you’re inspired to bring extra anything to share, it’s great way to build community. Bike City will have a blanket where you can share any extras with us.
BCTC produces a free community event where you can come see each other. BOMBA Fried Rice will play, you can bring food and the family and join the community. Funded by the Hate Free Together Initiative, BCTC works in our community to cultivate change and create safety through the arts.
This activity is funded in part by the City of Davis Arts and Cultural Affairs Division, and the California Arts Council, a State agency.

What’s a PopLuck? I’m glad you asked.
There’s gonna be live music!

With Bomba Fried Rice
Honestly, this is a chance for our community to come together, as we are. Bring your food, your kids, and your dancing feet, and join us. We’ll have a community table/blanket to share any amazing extras but all are welcome.
