The Process
Crafting radio drama is a challenge.
But original, fully-produced radio drama with our current societal restrictions? That’s a unique challenge, indeed.
Our actors, creative team, and technicians all undertake the creation of these radio plays from the comfort of their own homes. Our recording sessions are all done over Zoom. Actors listen to and react to their scene partners, remotely, while recording their own individual tracks. Our sound designers and assistants are then tasked with merging multiple voice tracks into the final product. While it is a new and unique challenge, we are committed to learning as we go and improving the process and craft with each project.

meet the playwright
Jordan Brownlee
Jordan Brownlee was born and raised in San Diego, California, and has loved making people laugh for as long as he can remember. While attending a Bike City open mic in 2018, he was randomly selected to perform, and has maintained a relationship with the company ever since. He is an award-winning impressionist who has lent his voice to several short films, award ceremonies and The Empty Iris on Amazon Prime Video. Jordan has trained with the Muppet performers of Sesame Street, and has since trained other Bike City actors to operate puppets. He made his Bike City acting debut in Light The Way: a Bike Safety Musical, and has since acted and written for various Bike City sketches and radio plays. Jordan graduated from UC Davis with a BA in Cinema and Digital Media.
