Nate Challis is an Actor, Loan Officer, and aspiring adult. He recently graduated from UC Davis with a B.A. in Communication, as well as close to 100,000$ in student debt. Nate is always excited to work with the wonderful people at BCTC. You may have seen him in Failure: A Love Story, or Small Steps. Outside of BCTC, Nate was featured as John Carter in Ranked: A New Musical which is currently streaming on Spotify and Apple Music. In his free time, Nate enjoys long runs, petting puppies, and voting out corrupt politicians.

Tara is thrilled to join BCTC once again! You may recognize her from the BCTC staged readings Over There Outside (Abby) and Westeros Side Story (Mance Rayder/Alliser Thorny/Madam). Other shows include the Angel/Nurse Emily in Angels in America Part 1&2 (RTAA), Titus in Titus Andronicus (RTAA), Goneril in King Lear (TAAC), Fanny Dashwood/Charlotte Palmer in Sense & Sensibility (Sacramento Theater Company), Cassandra in Vanya, Sonia, Masha & Spike (Main Street Theatre Works), Mildred in The Secret Affairs of Mildred Wild (The Costa Mesa Playhouse) and both Dromios in Comedy of Errors (Sacramento Shakespeare Festival.)

Sarah Elizabeth

Sarah is excited to be working with Bike City Theatre Company once again, while also beginning her journey into the wonderful world of voiceover acting. She is a Bay Area actress and has also worked with the Davis Shakespeare Festival, the San Francisco Shakespeare Festival, Ross Valley Players and others. She is currently studying voiceover techniques  and styles with Voice One in San Francisco.

Kate Myre

Kate Myre has lived and worked in Seattle for over 20 years as a stage actor and voice over talent. In addition to her extensive work nationally as a voice over artist, Kate’s selected regional stage credits include: Seattle Public Theater’s Boston Marriage, Seattle Shakespeare Company’s Lady Macbeth, Boston’s Publick Theatre as Rosalind in As You Like It, The Boston Repertory Theatre in Baby With The Bathwater, Chiswick Park Theatre Company as Ann in All my Sons, StageWest in Massachusetts as Elsa in The Road to Mecca, and Seattle Shakespeare Company as Gremio and Hortensio in Taming of the Shrew. Kate also served for several seasons as SSF’s company vocal coach. In 1996, she had the honor of meeting Arthur Miller and performing the role of Patricia in his play, The Last Yankee. With the assistance of Mr. Miller, Kate was brought to New York to recreate the role for the Signature Theatre Company under the direction of Joseph Chaikin. Additionally, Kate has worked with the Seattle Children’s Theatre, ACT, The Village Theater, Seattle Public Theater, The Immediate Theatre, The Borealis Theater, Theater Scheater, and The Boston Repertory Theatre. At Cornish, Kate has directed The Cripple of Inishmaan, Fen, Stop Kiss, Almost Maine, and Top Girls. She is also a founding member of Operating Theater, a company dedicated to an open rehearsal process which functions as a teaching tool for students and alumni. Kate received her Bachelor of Theater from Willamette University and an MFA in Acting from Brandeis University.

Emily Berman

 Emily Berman is a New York-based actor, musician, and voiceover artist.  She originated roles in world premiere productions of Sense and Sensibility (Chicago Shakespeare Theater, The Old Globe), Miss Bennet: Christmas at Pemberley (Northlight Theatre), and Days Like Today (Writers Theatre). Other regional credits include Lost in Yonkers (Riverside Theater), Bridges of Madison County (Marriott Theatre), and The Diary of Anne Frank (Milwaukee Repertory Theatre, where she completed her Emerging Professional Residency along with Bike City Theatre Artistic Director J.R. Yancher - those were the days). She has appeared on television on Chicago Fire and Chicago PD, and her voice has been featured in national campaigns for brands such as Trunk Club, Starbucks, Big Lots and more.  In 2019, Emily was nominated for a Joseph Jefferson award for her work in TimeLine Theatre Company’s A Shayna Maidel, and she released an album called Train and Taxi with her band, The Winchesters.  www.emilygraceberman.com
