Our Youth After School Program with Davis Kids Klub is currently on hold, but we look forward to reinstating it as soon as we can.

BCTC + Davis Kids Klub Theatre Skills Program.

In this weeklong course, students will develop a better understanding of theatre while having fun through a variety of improv and acting exercises.

The course is lead by BCTC’s own Johnny Quesada. Quesada is a local composer, actor, writer, and lyricist, with more than five years’ experience working with youths in an artistic and educational setting.  

Take a look at a sample week’s schedule:

·       Day 1: Introductions and Play

·       Day 2: Scenery and Blocking

·       Day 3: Ensemble Building

·       Day 4: Performing Basics 

·       Day 5: Collaborating Together  

Every session focuses on specific activities related to the days’ topic. The last day finishes with a performance of their own adaptations of a story.
